REGIONALISM

A one day national meeting of Association des Anciens Elèves de l’Institut Pasteur at Besançon the 6/9/2000 

Suggested by Pr. J. Monod, this activity promotes scientific meetings elsewhere in France. This program is first dedicated to former Institute Pasteur students.These meetings are open to biologists, physicians, university and health care professionals and usually consist of one day scientific meeting with one or two sessions. A complementary program (cultural or touristic) can be included for participants and accompanying people. Practical issues are handled by organizers including date, subjects and speakers who can be chosen from local specialists outside Institutions or usually the Pasteur Institute. In this way, the association seeks to maintain links with colleagues throught the country and to contribute to the diffusion of Pasteurian research.
